The MSU Homeland Security Certificate Program site was an extreme rush job. Our office learned of the project on a Friday and it was done by the following Friday. Because of the rushed nature of the project, we were forced to reuse a site template that we had already put into use, the template for the MSU Promise site.
As I did with the MSU Promise site, I developed the template for this site from an existing design. It was much easier for the Homeland Security site, as most of the HTML had already been written and I just needed to make a handful of modifications.
Unfortunately, many of the problems I had with the MSU Promise site were carried into this site, but – as with the MSU Promise site – the client was happy so there was nothing to worry about.
The above text was copied directly from my original portfolio as I imported it over to the blog. It was not updated for re-publishing. This project launched in July 2004.
