For DetroitHockey.Net’s fifteenth season, I designed a logo in the style of something that could be worn as an athletic jersey patch, like you would see a sports team do.
I started with a vaguely-triangular shield shape, with an outlining pattern similar to that of the DetroitHockey.Net shield logo. That logo itself was perched at the top of the new shield and a ribbon featuring the site’s name and the years 1996 and 2011 was wrapped around the bottom.
Inside the main shield is the number 15 in a block font. Smaller and to the right are the letters “TH” to make it read “15th.” Under that is the word “season.”
The above text and image were copied directly from my original portfolio as I imported it over to the blog. It was not updated for re-publishing. This project launched in September 2010.
